WELCOME TO SOFTPEAKS
We are a Johannesburg based online cake shop
We specialize in buttercream layer cakes
Regrettably, no fondant novelty cakes
We do not have a physical walk-in location
Shop some of our cakes online or complete this for a custom cake creation
HOW IT ALL WORKS
- Orders to be placed at least 2 days in advance for standard cakes and cupcakes, 5-8 days for Occasion cakes
- Closed on Sundays and Mondays- Collections and deliveries available Tuesday to Saturday
- Collections available from our studio in Orange Grove
- Use the date picker at checkout to select a delivery/pickup date
- If your required date is not available at checkout, we are either closed, fully booked or you have no met the minimum lead times required for items in your cart
- Once your order has been place, expect to receive a notification the morning before with collection details or your scheduled delivery time
- You can also leave us any notes on your order at checkout
CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BUTTERCREAM CAKES
- Please handle with care, ensuring the cake is kept perfectly level at all times
- Ensure cakes are transported in the front footwell of your car, with the AC directed at it, even in winter
- DO NOT attempt to drive with a cake on a passenger's lap, this is especially true for tall & tiered cakes
- Bring up to room temperature 2-4hrs before serving- Do not display cake in direct sunlight
- Be mindful of supporting dowels & boards on tall/tiered cakes
